Applied Works news feed

All our latest news updates are now available as a news feed. Feeds are an emerging web format that allow user’s to subscribe to frequently updated content from a variety of different websites. Some sites may also offer more than one feed. Feeds generally comprise a date, title and brief summary of the article, along with a link to further information.

To take advantage of news feeds you'll need a piece of software which monitors the sites you've subscribed to, alerting you when new content is published. Some web browsers, including Apple’s Safari and Microsoft’s forthcoming Internet Explorer 7, have built in compatibility. If you are unable to view feeds through your browser, there are plenty of 3rd party newsreaders available (follow the Google link opposite).

Our news feed uses the Atom format, some other sites may use a very similar format called RSS. Both formats are normally indicated by a square orange icon containing white radio waves. To subscribe to our feed click on the subscribe link below (you may also need to bookmark the resultant page).
