Who we are
Applied Works is a design consultancy. We help our clients to engage their audience through visual communication.
The business has three creative partners: Joe Sharpe, Paul Kettle, and Peter Newman, who met whilst studying Graphic Design at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design in the early nineties. They went on to collaborate on many projects through their own independent businesses, before joining forces in 2004 to form Applied Works.
What we do
The business as a whole is brand-focused, with each partner specializing in one of three core areas of expertise: interactive, moving image, and print. This ensures that we communicate consistent, visually intelligent brand messages across a variety of media.
We’re a small, focused and responsive team with an extended network of creative and technical collaborators. This enables us to competitively execute sizable projects to the highest level of quality and service. We work with local, national and international clients across a range of different sectors.
